RACHELLE ARMSTEAD

Music has always been my passion. Since childhood, I've taken music lessons and participated in choirs and junior orchestras. I'm currently attending Full Sail University where I study Audio Production in the hope of becoming a film and video game music composer.

When I'm not studying, I work as a freelance music composer and arranger on sites such as Upwork.com and Freelancer.com. My specialty is musical storytelling. Music adds depth to stories by activating memory traces of emotional times in people's lives and by stimulating the body in ways that mirror emotional responses, causing people to “feel” certain emotions and immersing them into the story. I love being able to touch people through the music that I create.

I compose, arrange, and record music in all genres. Through my education thus far,  I've become proficient in music theory, ProTools, Logic, Sibelius, and Finale.
